One of the things that really struck me when I was watching/reading Genshiken, was the part where they assembled models. I was intrigued by the complexity of the task and how they put such seriousness in making a model come to life. Ever since that time, I saw models in a different light. I mean, when I encounter then in malls, I always picture myself putting them together, painting them, inking them, and boasting the completed model on a special place in my table.
So finally, after so long, I was able to acquire my first ever Gundam model!
This is a first grade Gundam named Kyrios. It was pretty easy to assemble and we finished it in one sitting. But it looks really lame because it’s not yet painted. I wish I had the right equips to paint it. I don’t really know what’s the best paint to use for this, so I dare not experiment. But it would seriously look cooler if it was painted and inked in.
So the Gundam has a gun, a shield, boosters at the back and pointy knees (or is it wings?). What the pointy things are for, I really don’t know. Whatever it is, I guess it contributes to its cooleo look.
I wish I had the Wing Zero. That would be friggin’ awesome!
